Pay: $18.25-$21.25 per hour DOE
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Position Type: Evaluation Hire
Location: Bellingham, WA
Job Duties & Requirements include:
-Electro-mechanical assembly and sub-assemblies of moderately complex units, requiring adjusting, fitting, and aligning to ordinary tolerances.
-Works from drawings or specifications. Inspects and tests completed units.
-Maintain good safety habits and practices, especially with forklifts, cranes, and sawhorses.
-Use production software to track work, report parts used, and report completed quantities accurately.
-Rotates workstations within the production departments as needed.
-Uses power drivers, drills, cutters, torque wrenches, and other power tools.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Maintain good safety habits and practices, especially with cranes and forklifts.
-Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the electro-mechanical field.
Proficient with hand tools and power tools
Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math, including understanding fractions
Ability to read a tape measure
Problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
Requires 0 - 2 years of experience in a similar field
Fluency in written and spoken English
Ability to come to work regularly in the office
