Monday-Thursday, possible overtime on Friday
6:00am to 4:30pm
Position Details
Position Type: Evaluation-to-Hire
Location: Lynden, WA
Pay: $26.00-$32.00/HR
What You'll Do
- Create finished assemblies by welding sheet metal, plate metal, structural steel, and composite components
- Read and interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and shop packets
- Set up and complete welding projects with or without fixtures
- Adjust welding equipment using approved settings to produce high-quality welds
- Prepare materials and substrates prior to welding
- Perform post-weld cleanup to ensure proper fit, finish, and appearance
- Complete inspections and follow quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Work safely while maintaining productivity and workmanship standards
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience preferred
- Recent graduates of the BTC Welding Program are encouraged to apply, even without on-the-job welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Industrial, manufacturing, or agricultural equipment experience is a plus
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
