Job Title: Swing Shift Planer Operator
Location: Chehalis, WA
Schedule: Swing Shift, 2:30pm - 11pm| Full-Time
Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Planer Operator to join our day shift team. This role involves operating equipment to process large timbers and requires hands-on material handling.

Work is physically demanding and includes lifting up to 75 lbs

Approximately 30% of tasks occur outdoors in a non-heated environment
-
Forklift operation may be required after the first month of employment
Responsibilities
As a Planer Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling timber materials through the production process.

Operate and maintain two separate planer machines

Move and stack heavy timbers, mostly by hand

Accurately measure materials using a tape measure
Experience
Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic and relevant industrial or construction experience.

Previous experience in a construction or industrial setting is a plus

Forklift experience preferred, though not required for initial training

Comfortable working in physically demanding and outdoor conditions
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following physical and skill-based requirements.

Ability to lift 75 lbs consistently

Proficient in reading and using a tape measure

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
