Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join a local truck company in a lead role. The ideal candidate will have experience painting trucks, trailers, and other large vehicles, with a strong eye for detail and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare truck surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
- Mix and apply paints, clear coats, and other finishes to manufacturer and customer specifications.
- Lead and oversee the painting team, ensuring efficiency and quality in all projects.
- Operate spray guns and other painting equipment to ensure an even and durable application.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in automotive or truck painting.
- Familiarity with different paint types, spray guns, and application techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to match colors accurately.
- Ability to lead a team, manage workflow, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to automotive painting.
