General Labor / Sanitation - $19/hour
Full-time; Graveyard shift
Sun-Thur; 9pm to 5:30am
Overtime available (10–12 hour shifts as needed)
Weekends required (occasionally Sunday–Friday shifts)
We are hiring a General Labor / Sanitation worker for a large food manufacturing facility that produces packaged baked goods and food products distributed nationwide. This is a third-shift, temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent overtime and the potential to become a permanent employee!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of food production equipment and facility areas
- Disassemble and reassemble production equipment for cleaning
- Clean equipment using COP and CIP systems
- Monitor and test chemical concentrations and document results
- Maintain sanitation logs, charts, and required paperwork
- Inventory sanitation supplies and materials
- Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety guidelines
- Operate sanitation-related systems and equipment
- Assist with training new team members
- Cross-train in other plant areas as required
Qualifications:
- Ability to work overnight shifts and mandatory weekends
- Comfortable working in a food production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Previous sanitation, production, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required
