Blow Mold Operator

Pay: $19/hour, Swing Shift

Job Summary

Seeking a dependable Blow Mold Operator to support swing-shift manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for operating blow mold equipment safely and efficiently, performing quality checks, packaging finished products, and supporting lead operators and team members as needed. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate blow mold equipment in a safe and efficient manner

  • Perform weight checks and water leak tests; make adjustments as required

  • Package bottles according to production and sanitation standards

  • Document quality control tests, machine records, and production activity as directed

  • Notify Lead Operator of any variances, mechanical issues, or safety concerns

  • Adjust machines for pinch-offs, tail lengths, parisons, and heat control as directed

  • Assist Lead Operator with mechanical repairs as needed

  • Unload plastic resin deliveries when required

  • Assist with training new packers

  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area to support food safety, quality, and efficiency

  • Label and mark bottle containers using a computerized inventory tracking system

  • Perform machine startup and shutdown procedures as necessary

  • Serve as backup to other Blow Mold Operators and Blow Mold Packers
