Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a reputable, multi-location organization to recruit a Senior HR Generalist. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational teams and leading key HR initiatives that drive organizational success.
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional who is equally strategic and hands-on - someone comfortable managing complex employee relations while balancing a high-volume recruiting workload across multiple business units.
This is an in-office position with collaboration across several regional offices and routine travel.
What You’ll Do

Serve as a trusted HR partner to leaders and employees

Lead complex employee and manager relations, including investigations, performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution

Manage a heavy full-cycle recruitment load supporting operational teams with competing hiring demands

Support performance management, succession planning, and leadership development efforts

Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices

Analyze workforce metrics to guide decision-making

Maintain accurate HRIS records and documentation

Contribute to process improvements, policy updates, and HR initiatives

Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and recognition programs
Travel & Work Environment

Must be willing and able to travel approximately one week per month (primarily during favorable weather) to locations throughout Washington, Montana, and Idaho

This is not a remote role - candidates must be comfortable working onsite and collaborating in person

Work may take place across multiple office locations including Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, and Lakewood, depending on business needs
Qualifications

5–7 years of progressive HR experience required

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Demonstrated success leading complex employee relations matters

Strong experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion

HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus
