Entry Level Powder Coating Technician
Location: Spokane, WA
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shifts Available: Day Shift and Swing Shift
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry Level Powder Coating Technician to join our metal manufacturing team in Spokane. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing and learn a skilled trade. No prior powder coating experience is required — we will provide on-the-job training.
As a Powder Coating Technician, you will assist in preparing, coating, and finishing metal parts to meet quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare metal parts for coating (cleaning, sanding, masking, and racking)

Operate powder coating equipment under supervision

Apply powder coating evenly and efficiently

Monitor coating thickness and finish quality

Load and unload parts from the coating line and curing ovens

Perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Assist with general shop duties as needed
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED Required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Comfortable standing for extended periods

Willingness to learn and take direction

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
