Job Full Description
Repair/Maintenance Technician - Up to $50/hr
Monday to Thursday, 2pm start, 10-hour shifts
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment in a plant environment. Industrial equipment experience required. Building or apartment maintenance experience alone will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, and facility systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
- Fabricate or repair components using welding and machining tools
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and concrete repair
- Install and move production equipment (saws, mills, routers, material handling)
- Read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation
- Follow OSHA and company safety policies and wear required PPE
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (trade or technical training preferred)
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or plant setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, and machining equipment
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (35 lbs repetitively)
- Ability to stand, climb, bend, and work in confined or elevated areas
