Service Manager
Pay: $70-$90/k per year DOE
We are currently hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Service Manager to lead and oversee daily service operations. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong mechanical expertise to manage a team of technicians, ensure high-quality work, and drive operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Motivate, guide, and supervise technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on all completed jobs
- Accurately document job-related information in internal systems (Treqso)
- Provide technical expertise in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
- Oversee scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation within the service department
- Ensure all service activities are well-coordinated, on schedule, and within budget
Qualifications:
- Mechanical and service technician experience is required
- Leadership or management experience required
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Float (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of crane and hydraulic systems is a plus
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred or ability to obtain one
Equipment Used:
- Welding and mechanical equipment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Combination of shop and field/service environment
- Ability to manage hands-on and administrative responsibilities
- May require lifting, standing, and working around heavy equipment
