Restoration Supervisor
Our client is looking for a Restoration Supervisor to lead crews and assist with property damage restoration projects throughout Wisconsin. This position works directly on job sites and involves a variety of restoration projects related to fire, water, wind, contents, and collision damage.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, comfortable leading a small crew, and able to communicate professionally with both customers and project managers. This is a great opportunity for someone with restoration, construction, property maintenance, or related experience who enjoys variety and working in the field.
Pay: $20-$25/hour based on experience
Schedule: 1st shift; start and end times may vary depending on the project
Location: East side of Madison, WI
Travel: Daily travel throughout Wisconsin; Enjoy being home every night!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and instruct crew members on project tasks, scope of work, and necessary safety procedures
- Perform hands-on restoration and labor work related to fire, water, wind, contents, and collision damage
- Communicate with property owners and project payees with professionalism and empathy throughout the restoration process
- Inventory and document contents using a smartphone and company applications
- Uninstall, disassemble, reassemble, and reinstall a variety of items, including equipment and higher-value contents
- Maintain accurate job notes, timekeeping, equipment records, and project documentation while communicating regularly with the assigned project manager
- Participate in an on-call rotation and take a leadership role during emergency restoration situations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable ability to travel to job sites throughout Wisconsin
- Previous restoration, construction, maintenance, property services, or related experience is preferred
- Previous experience leading or supervising a small team is preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work professionally with customers during stressful situations
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to keep track of tools, equipment, parts, and project documentation
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment; forklift experience is a plus
- Basic math and problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment, electronics, or machinery

Physical Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working on active restoration and construction sites, including areas affected by fire, flooding, wind, or other damage
- Able to walk and work on uneven or debris-filled surfaces
- Regular lifting and movement of materials and equipment, including occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work in confined or difficult-to-access areas
- Comfortable working around wet conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and other job-site conditions
