Picker/Packer
A brand-new warehouse is opening on Madison's east side, and we are hiring for Warehouse Associates! Our client operates a commissary facility that prepares and ships orders to correctional facilities. This is a great opportunity for dependable candidates who enjoy hands-on work and are looking to get started or build experience in a warehouse environment.
Pay: $17.81/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Pick products and accurately fill customer orders
- Pack completed orders for shipment
- Verify products and quantities to ensure orders are accurate
- Organize and move products throughout the warehouse
- Follow established procedures for picking, packing, and preparing shipments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
- Must be able to pass a DOC pre-employment background check
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Eager to learn and willing to take on a variety of warehouse tasks
