Marketing Representative
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Occasional Saturdays as needed (typically 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
Pay: $21-23/hr
A growing recycling company in the Madison area is seeking a Marketing Representative to support customer service, account development, and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and eager to learn. This role provides opportunities to develop skills in sales, customer relations, marketing, logistics coordination, event planning, and business operations within the recycling and environmental services industry.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones and responding to emails
- Assist walk-in customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Prepare customer quotes, service agreements, and recycling contracts
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives and outreach programs
- Travel throughout the service area to conduct customer visits, site assessments, and relationship-building activities
- Prospect for new business opportunities and conduct customer outreach
- Assist with the creation of promotional and marketing materials
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives and outreach programs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of outside sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, associate’s degree required
- Ability to travel locally – valid driver’s license required
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
