Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Pay: $17.75/HR
Duties:
- Mix plastisol batches in large mixers using proper procedures
- Gather and prepare shipping containers
- Clean mixers and totes using proper procedures
- Empty mixer, put mix into containers and place finished product on designated pallets with the appropriate count
- Weigh pigment and finished product to ensure they meet specs
- Perform QC on finished batch to ensure viscosity, weight/gallon and moisture test are correct and get approval from lead to proceed
- Operate forklift
- Produce approximately 2 batches of plastisol per day
- Follow direction of leads and division supervisor and perform work as assigned
- Notify lead of any mechanical or material issues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Have the ability to squat, bend, twist, work in high places, climb stairs multiple times per shift
- Must be able to work in warehouse type environment with frequent dust and loud noises
