Job Full Description
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm
Pay: $30.00-$40.00/HR
Duties:
-
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance
-
Weld, repair, and fabricate components and projects independently or under supervision
-
Communicate with operators to diagnose and understand system malfunctions
-
Log data and work orders using basic computer systems and preventive maintenance software
-
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems in an industrial environment
-
Perform plumbing and pipe fitting tasks, including structural repairs to buildings, machinery, and utility piping (sometimes at elevated positions)
-
Install modifications to existing equipment as required
-
Collaborate in a team-oriented environment to support facility operations
-
Assist in developing solutions to operating problems and implement improvements
-
Complete administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting
-
Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques
-
Basic computer skills for data entry and maintenance tracking systems
-
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
-
Basic plumbing and pipe fitting skills
-
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
-
Strong communication skills to work effectively with operators and team members
-
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose and implement improvements
Additional Desirable Experience:
-
Understanding of electrical principles and maintenance processes
-
Knowledge of PID/closed loop control systems
-
Familiarity with networking tools and standards
-
HMI programming and troubleshooting
