Job Full Description
Hours:
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00am - 2:00pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:00pm - 12:00am
Pay: up to $27.00/HR, based on experience
Duties:
-
Perform mechanical assembly of emergency vehicle components including structural parts, lighting systems, bumpers, brackets, and mounted equipment.

Install and route wiring, electrical components, and lighting systems according to assembly drawings and specifications.

Assemble and mount mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and calibrated torque equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate installation and proper alignment of components.

Assist with integration of electrical and mechanical systems throughout the vehicle build process.

Verify that all installed parts meet company quality, safety, and performance standards.

Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit, function, and overall build quality.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety procedures.

Collaborate with team members across production to support efficient workflow and on‑time build completion.
Required Qualifications:
-
Experience in high‑level mechanical or electrical assembly, automotive, equipment build, or related technical roles.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical work instructions.

Proficiency using common hand tools, power tools, and torque tools.
-
Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments.
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with assembly work.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced production environment.
-
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with vehicle upfitting, heavy equipment assembly, or emergency vehicle manufacturing.

Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, or 12V components.

Prior experience working with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes.
