Job Full Description
TEMPORARY MATERIAL HANDLER POSITION
Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:30am-3:30pm
* OT as needed on Friday from 5:30am-1:30pm
Pay: $17.85/HR
Duties:
-
Pick and deliver warehoused parts to designated assembly areas to support efficient production flow

Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment safely and effectively
-
Maintain accurate material transactions within the ERP system
-
Follow all safety procedures and support company safety initiatives
-
Perform daily forklift inspections and report any issues
-
Maintain stock areas, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and proper inventory levels
-
Collaborate closely with production lines to ensure timely material availability
-
Identify and resolve basic material‑flow or inventory issues
-
Participate in team meetings and share job‑related information
-
Demonstrate consistent attendance, quality, and attention to detail
-
Complete assigned tasks following established procedures, processes, and policies
-
Support continuous improvement efforts within the department
Qualifications:
-
0–2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
-
Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained and certified
-
Basic problem‑solving skills with the ability to follow defined procedures
-
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
-
Strong work ethic with a positive, professional attitude
-
Ability to learn and apply principles, practices, and processes related to the role
-
Comfortable working under daily or weekly supervision with frequent review for accuracy
-
Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and follow‑through on commitments
-
Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment
-
Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems preferred
