Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm (Enjoy afternoons free!)
Pay: $20.00 /HR + opportunities for overtime and advancement
Duties:

Perform hand‑fabrication tasks including shaping, grinding, polishing, and finishing stone surfaces
-
Complete edge profiling, sink cutouts, faucet holes, and detailed finishing work with precision
-
Operate hand tools such as polishers, grinders, and routers to achieve high‑quality finishes
-
Inspect raw slabs and fabricated pieces for defects, chips, or inconsistencies before and after fabrication
-
Read and interpret shop drawings, templates, and work orders accurately
-
Conduct quality‑control checks at each stage of fabrication to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship
-
Verify all measurements and finishing details before moving pieces to the next production stage
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times
-
Handle stone materials carefully to prevent damage during fabrication and movement
-
Work efficiently with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining exceptional quality standards

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status or quality concerns
Qualifications:
-
Experience in stone fabrication (granite, quartz, marble) strongly preferred
-
Prior experience working in a countertop fabrication shop is a plus
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; heavier materials moved with equipment or team lifts

Comfortable with physical tasks including bending, lifting, standing, kneeling, and crouching
-
Experience operating overhead cranes or material‑handling equipment
-
Skilled in the use of hand tools such as polishers, grinders, and routers
-
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality craftsmanship
-
Ability to work safely, maintain organization, and follow shop procedure
