Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: $18.00/HR
Duties:
- Deliver and install monuments, headstones, and memorial markers at designated sites
- Prepare foundations by measuring, mixing, pouring, and leveling concrete bases
- Read and interpret work orders, layout diagrams, and installation specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and light construction equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with sandblasting and finishing of stone work pieces
- Load, transport, and unload materials using forklifts and other equipment
- Ensure precise alignment, leveling, and placement of monuments according to specifications
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in outdoor environments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Forklift operation experience preferred
- Previous construction or labor experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and understand work orders and layout specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
