Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00/HR
Duties:
- Set up and operate wire forming and wire processing machines
- Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent production quality
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
- Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting as needed
- Conduct quality inspections using measuring devices to verify product accuracy
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with material handling, including forklift use when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with wire forming or wire processing equipment is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust equipment
- Ability to read and use measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
