Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm OR 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00/HR
Duties:
- Operate console controlling automatic strapping equipment to secure corrugated paperboard units.
- Read and interpret production orders to determine correct strapping patterns and specifications.
- Monitor units moving along conveyors to identify product and detect defects or irregularities.
- Use control panel to strap units according to established production standards.
- Control conveyor systems to move strapped units to storage or shipping areas.
- Stop equipment as needed to safely clear jams or resolve minor issues.
- Report equipment malfunctions or production concerns to supervisor promptly.
- Maintain basic production and equipment performance records as required
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operating experience preferred.
- Experience as a Unitizer Operator or Automatic Bander Operator is a plus.
- Industrial Truck Operator certification is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow production orders and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control awareness.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physical ability to stand and walk continuously, push/pull frequently, and lift up to 50 lbs.
