Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00/HR
Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production
- Verify part dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures
- Perform machine adjustments and tooling changes as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Troubleshoot minor machine or process issues and report concerns as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating press brakes required; experience with Amada or Cincinnati equipment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Strong knowledge of measuring tools, including calipers and tape measures
- Ability to verify tolerances and ensure high-quality production standards
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
