TEMPORARY POSITION OPPORTUNITY!
Hours: Wednesday - Sunday, 10:00am - 10:00pm
Pay: $18.00/HR
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Redeem patron tickets and distribute event wristbands accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize ticketing software to assist patrons with ticket purchases, order changes, and event-related questions.
- Resolve customer concerns and challenges in a professional, positive, and solution-oriented manner.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource regarding event information, including programming, activities, shuttle services, food vendors, catering, and other event services.
- Adhere to all Box Office policies, procedures, and cash-handling practices.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with administrative and reporting tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and provide support to other departments when necessary.
- Assist in creating and maintaining effective systems that enhance communication and productivity.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service, ticketing, retail, hospitality, or event experience preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively problem-solve and utilize available resources to resolve issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace applications, email, phone, and text communication.
- Ability to learn and utilize ticketing software and event management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions during outdoor events.
- Clean driving record with no DUI, DWI, or other driving violations if operating a company vehicle.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach, and perform other physical activities as required.
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines, or the ability to learn them quickly.
