Direct Hire Opportunity!
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:00pm
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00/HR
Duties:
- Set up CNC machines and perform changeovers to support production requirements.
- Operate CNC lathes and turning centers to manufacture precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate part production.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications and tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment as needed.
- Operate a variety of CNC equipment, including older machines, in a job shop manufacturing environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous CNC machining experience required.
- Experience setting up CNC machines and completing machine changeovers.
- Experience with CNC turning, lathes, Nakamura, and Tsugami machines preferred.
- Experience with Mastercam programming software preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced job shop environment with varying production demands.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate both modern and legacy machining equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.
