Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00/HR
Duties:
- Operate Mazak CNC turning machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Set up and run machining operations while monitoring quality and productivity.
- Measure finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with tolerances and quality standards.
- Make tooling and machine adjustments as needed to maintain part accuracy and production efficiency.
- Operate overhead cranes to safely move materials and completed products.
- Operate forklifts, drill presses, grinders, bar feeders, and other shop equipment as required.
- Inspect parts throughout the production process and document quality results as needed.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues to supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous CNC machining experience preferred.
- Experience operating Mazak turning machines is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, drill presses, grinders, and bar feeders preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring tools to inspect and verify part dimensions.
- Ability to make tooling offsets and machine adjustments to ensure quality production.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly.
