Job Full Description
DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!
Hours: Friday - Sunday, 6:30am - 6:30pm, work 36 hours but get paid for 40 hours
Pay: up to $35.00/HR
Duties:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment performance issues.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, service logs, and parts inventory documentation.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform emergency repairs and respond to production equipment breakdowns as needed.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history.
- Assist with PLC troubleshooting and support automated equipment operations.
- Ensure machinery operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
- Follow OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area.
Qualifications:
- Technical certification or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
- Previous maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting preferred.
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance programs and maintenance best practices.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple maintenance priorities.
- Ability to inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of production equipment and machinery to support operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
