Forklift Operator / Material Handler
Location: Waukesha, WI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21–$23 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our team. This role is responsible for material handling, forklift operation, packaging parts, and additional duties based on individual skills and capabilities. At this time, we do not have a suitable in-house replacement, making this a critical addition to our operation.
This position is ideal for someone who is energetic, has prior forklift experience, and is eager to learn and grow by taking on new responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials
- Perform material handling tasks throughout the facility
- Package parts accurately and prepare them for shipment or storage
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory movement and general warehouse support
- Take on additional responsibilities as skills and abilities allow
Qualifications
- Prior forklift operation experience required
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing responsibilities
- Ability to follow safety procedures and company standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
