Location: Delafield, WI
Shift: Mon – Thur (5am-3pm)
Pay Rate: $21-$30.00p/ht (BOE)
Description: The Machine Operator I is responsible for the manufacture of parts per print and specifications in an accurate and timely manner and the cleanliness of the work area. The Machine Operator I performs first-piece inspections and the quality checks on subsequent produced pieces. Responsible for completing daily 6S activities assigned to workstation of operation. Basic set ups, inserting raw materials, loading programs, and operating machinery to produce quality finished products. Run clippers, rotary trimmers, or other secondary equipment to complete production duties. Need the ability to read work orders/ work instructions. Stage materials used in production of finished goods. Measure and inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Participate in the development of work instructions or continuous improvement projects. Reads and understands blueprints, specifications, dimensions, and routings. Complete all required job-related safety training & comply with PPE standards to perform duties. Performs other duties as assigned.
