2nd shift Flexible Packaging Support Associate Needed! #8844
Location: Delafield, WI 53018
Starting Wage: $19.00-22.00/hour + $1.50 shift premium
Shift: Mon - Thur (2:00pm-12:00am)
Duties:
The Pouch Support Associate is responsible for tasks that include:
- Moves and/or replaces pallets or large rolls between production, staging areas, and receiving
- Operates powered industrial equipment, receive raw materials to place in inventory, and ship finished goods
- Delivers supplies to production lines and moves rolls between production and staging areas
- Cross trains on various pouch and rollstock equipment. This includes the slitting machine, roll coater or pouch converting line
- Performs roll changes, return to stock, prep job jackets, and assist operators with setup and cleanup
- Wraps, bands, labels, and packs finished products according to customer specifications
- Performs general housekeeping in production and warehouse areas; sweeps and maintains organization in the production area
- Assists in developing and maintaining the department’s Standard Operating Procedures
- Troubleshoots and problem-solves issues that arise
- Completes any required paperwork and/or documentation in an accurate manner
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude
- Proficient computer skills with the ability and desire to learn new systems and processes
- Strong math skills
- Detail-oriented with fine attention to detail
- Problem-solver with the ability to make independent decisions
