Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced and safety-minded Excavator / Dozer Operators for one of our valued clients. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision work and enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced construction environment.
What You’ll Do
- Operate excavators, dozers, and heavy equipment for digging, grading, trenching, and site preparation
- Read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Report mechanical or safety issues promptly
- Assist with job-site tasks such as material movement and trenching when needed
- Operate equipment safely around utilities, structures, and personnel
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience operating excavators, dozers, or similar heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of job-site safety practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors
- Reliable, dependable, and able to follow direction
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- CDL not required but considered a plus
- Experience with grade stakes, reference marks, or GPS grade control systems is a plus
