Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking reliable and safety‑focused Construction Flaggers for one of our valued clients for the upcoming construction season. This role is essential for supporting road construction teams, maintaining safe traffic flow, and ensuring safety in active work zones.
***BEFORE APPLYING YOU MUST HAVE ATSSA Certification***
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and control traffic through active construction zones
- Communicate clearly with construction crew members to maintain safe work areas
- Properly set up and remove signs, cones, barricades, and traffic control devices
- Maintain a professional and alert presence at all times
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed
- Follow all safety rules, company procedures, and traffic control regulations
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and situational awareness
- Must be dependable with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs as required
- Prior experience in traffic control or flagging is a plus
- ATSSA Certification (American Traffic Safety Services Association)
- Must be able to remain alert and safety-focused for full shifts
