Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious CDL Class A Driver to operate commercial vehicles and ensure the safe, timely delivery of goods. This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who values independence, safety, and reliability.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and safely drive Class A tractor-trailer vehicles on local and long-haul routes
- Load, secure, and unload cargo in compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, fluids, safety equipment)
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records in compliance with hours-of-service rules
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, communicating with dispatch as needed
- Inspect and report vehicle maintenance or safety issues
- Keep the vehicle clean and in proper working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and road/weather conditions
- Assist with route planning and efficiency improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience (OTR experience preferred)
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Experience operating equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and pre-employment requirements
