Job Title: CNC Press Break Operator
Location: Cedar Grove
Pay: $26 - $36 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5 PM
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Press Break Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC programming (e.g., G-code) and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to ensure precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate a press brake for routine established work.
• Select correct tooling for the job task with setup documents.
• Load, install and correctly set up the tools required.
• Perform assigned work within time standards and quality expectations.
• Inspect work of coworkers as required.
• Account for time and work completed.
• Safely handle materials and completed work.
• Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues, or seek assistance from qualified sources.
• Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues.
• Maintain performance log books on assigned area equipment, and report deficiencies.
• Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- The CNC Press Brake Operator is responsible for the daily setup and operation of hydraulic CNC controlled press brakes in a metal fabrication shop. The operator may be required to assist other operators as a helper on high priority work or other machine
Requirements:
- Metal press brake and basic fabrication background.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication, press brake is desirable.
• Competent at basic dimensional measuring and the use of precision measurement tools.
