Accounts Receivable Manager- Paterson, NJ
Job Description:
The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s billing, collections, and cash application functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments. This role manages a team of AR specialists, monitors outstanding receivables, and implements effective collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce delinquency. The Accounts Receivable Manager works closely with finance, sales, and customer service teams to resolve payment issues, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Monitoring cash collections, cash application, chargebacks, disputes, and resolutions
- Managing weekly and monthly reporting and analysis
- Managing the A/R monthly closing process, account reconciliations
- Supporting external audits
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to remain focused and work with limited supervision, perform well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and successfully meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Work Schedule: Mon-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
