Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and executing all core HR functions, including but not limited to: recruitment, employment, onboarding, employee relations, equal employment opportunity (EEO), compensation and benefits, organizational development, and overall HR operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for employee-related matters, working to address concerns and resolve issues in alignment with MBT’s values. By developing and implementing innovative HR strategies, the Human Resources Manager helps foster a workplace culture centered on employee success, engagement, and inclusivity. Additionally, this role provides guidance to company leadership on HR policy and compliance, ensuring that all practices adhere to current employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
? Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and/or a combination of work experience in related fields equal to the degree
? Five or more years of experience in Human Resources or related field
? Broad background including coaching and counseling, performance management, employee involvement, teambuilding, as well as compensation and benefits
? Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/state/local regulations
? Experience in recruiting and retaining diverse employee talent
? Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
? Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships
? Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and ability to work closely with our senior management team
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
? Ability to work from MBT’s main office (in Visalia, CA)
? Ability to travel to employee trainings, conferences, events, and to company required meetings (with possible overnight stays), as needed
Responsibilities
Recruitment, Onboarding, and Separation
? Develop job descriptions and post openings on relevant job boards and local networks
Execute projects with speed and accuracy without immediate or constant supervision
?Communicate areas of potential risk to the Director of Business Operations
?Complete all other tasks, as assigned
