Job Full Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete various conservation plans by USDA-NRCS and CDFA requirements, including but not limited to, Nutrient Management Plans, Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans, Carbon Farm Plans, Irrigation Design and Management Plans,
• Conservation planning for agricultural producers
• General agronomy and farm management consultation projects
• Team support in providing government funding services to producers

 

Employment Requirements:

 

Minimum requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in a related field
• 2 years of Experience
• Technical Service Provider (TSP) accreditation with the NRCS, or eligibility to acquire accreditation
• Certified Crop Advisor certification or ability to acquire accreditation
• Proven and uncompromising integrity
• Goodwill to agricultural producers
• Attentive to details
• Accountability and results-focused
• Effective public and personal communicator

The following qualities will be highly valued in a Technical Agronomist/Project Manager

• Leadership skills and experience
• 5+ years of experience in the agriculture or environmental field
• A Master’s Degree in the agricultural or Environmental Field
• Certified Professional Agronomist or Certified Soil Scientist
• A desire and ability to develop additional professional services at Innovative Ag Services, LLC
