CONTROLLER

• Full-time – Direct Hire
• Location: Woodlake, CA
• Base Salary: $85K to $150K - DOE
• Benefits include: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance. 401K, Vacation, PTO/Sick time, and observed holidays.

Controller Duties:

• Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, long-range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.
• Provides support and direction to the accounting staff.
• Directs in providing and directing procedures and computer application systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services.
• Directs in activities such as custodian of funds, securities, and assets of the organization.
• Appraises the organization's financial position and issues periodic reports on the organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth.
• Assists senior management with the establishment of budget programs, strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
• Coordinates tax reporting programs and investor relations activities.
• Analyzes consolidates and directs all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and in reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Ensures compliance with government reporting requirements.
• Oversees and directs the preparation and issuance of the corporation's annual report, financial reports, and special analysis. Interacts with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analysis, reports, and recommendations.
• Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
• Establishes both long-term and short-term department budget goals.
• Assists in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurance required for business operations.
• Establishes and maintains contacts with CPAs, financial institutions, insurance brokers, and other entities related to the accounting and finance function

Controller Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Finance, or in a related field
• 5 years or more relevant experience.
• Analytical skills in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant financial information with accuracy.
