About the Role
Our client's firm is seeking a proactive and highly organized Team Leader to oversee daily operational execution and support the continued growth of our financial planning practice. This role is the central hub for task delegation, workflow oversight, and cross-team communication—ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with firm standards.
The Team Leader works closely with the Director of Operations to drive company-wide initiatives, streamline processes, and strengthen communication between leadership and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with financial services operations experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys coaching others toward success.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Coaching
- Provide daily support, guidance, and problem-solving assistance to team members.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
- Offer ongoing feedback to help staff grow and perform at their best.
Workflow & Task Management
- Oversee task delegation across multiple teams to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Maintain smooth daily office operations and uphold firm workflow standards.
- Monitor employee schedules, time-off requests, and coverage needs.
- Ensure office readiness, productivity, and adequate supply inventory.
Operational Support & Process Improvement
- Partner with the Director of Operations to implement new processes, policies, and firm-wide initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between leadership and staff, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Track workflow efficiency, team capacity, and operational metrics.
- Recommend workload balancing, staffing needs, and process enhancements.
- Reinforce adoption of new procedures and support change management efforts.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of management or team lead experience
- 3+ years of financial services, brokerage, or RIA operations experience
- Strong understanding of financial planning workflows and operational best practices
- Experience with Redtail CRM preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead with professionalism, accountability, and a service-oriented mindset
