Cashier Job Summary:
Express Employment is looking to hire a Cashier in the various areas throughout Tulare County. A Cashier's primary role is to assist customers in the in-store check-out process. Main duties include ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring coupons, collecting payments and giving appropriate change. May be responsible for checking materials and supplies and reporting when stock is low.
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register or other point of sale systems.
- Balancing cash registers, making change, recording purchases, returns and scanning items.
- Assisting customers with their shopping and purchases.
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-Time – Day and Afternoon shifts.
- Pay: $16.50
- Temporary and Evaluation to Hire positions available.
Cashier Qualifications:
· Friendly and positive attitude.
· Excellent customer service.
· Cash handling.
· Previous retail/cashier experience is preferred.
· Not mandatory but Bilingual is a plus.
