Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Lead Assembly for a aftermarket parts manufacturer for motorized vehicles and industrial vehicles located in the Palmetto, FL area.
Duties:
- Hands-on lead for employees who assemble various components and parts in Production or other components per engineering diagrams and schematics.
- Assists employees in solving problems.
- Adjusts work to meet production schedules.
- Helps set up machines and equipment necessary to perform the job within specifications
- Inspects employees’ work to ensure accuracy and compliance with existing quality standards
- Assists in supervising operation time details and tablet clocking discipline
- Promotes, Identifies, and perform continuous process improvement opportunities
- Updates and reviews training matrix to ensure training is current and in compliance.
- Works with the warehouse teams to resolve shortages preventing jobs being built
Requirements:
- Creates & updates work instructions, checklists, visual aids, production display metrics, in use by production personnel
- Ensures safety is always a top priority
- Acts as a resource for problem solving issues that arise in Production and Inspection
- Reinforce company policy and rules to ensure that all production team members understand and follow the expectations of the company.
- Takes a leadership role driving continuous improvement and 6S initiatives.
- Rotates to different workstations to ensure production needs are met and performs activities of employees supervised.
