Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a Warehouse Associate with a Furniture Distribution Center located in the Sarasota, FL area.
Duties Include:
- Unload incoming shipments by hand, verify the accuracy of deliveries, and inspect for any damages.
- Organize and store products in designated areas, maintain accurate inventory records, and conduct regular stock counts.
- Pick and pack orders accurately, prepare items for shipment and ensure timely dispatch to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhere to safety protocols, and report any hazards or equipment issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is often preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
-Comfort working in non-climate-controlled environments
- Must be comfortable bending stooping, reaching pulling, and stretching for up to 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
- Ensuring accuracy in order picking, packing, and inventory management.
- Clear communication with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
