Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a Buyer with a Ventilation Manufacturer located in the Bradenton, FL area.
Duties Include:
- Analyze needs, including determining the quantities and types of items to be purchased
- Ensure the supply of raw materials and products (inventoried or not) necessary for production;
- Offer equivalent or replacement products in case of shortages, discontinuities, late production, etc.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle
- Negotiate supply agreements with suppliers in search of alternative solutions in order to optimize the total cost of acquisition of raw materials while offering unparalleled customer service
- Write and prepare the necessary purchase orders and enter them into the system;
- Extract and analyze the information contained in the ERP to launch orders according to production needs;
- Analyze and correct non-compliance situations mainly in terms of quantity, quality, deadlines, transportation and payment;
- Perform various market analyses and conduct competitive intelligence and relevant sectors;
Requirements:
- More than 5 years of experience in a relevant field;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (asset);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel);
- Basic knowledge of management software Asset & Infor)
- Customer orientation, sense of organization and prioritization, dynamism and team spirit;
- English required. Spanish OR French preferred.
