Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for an Experienced Assembler with a Boat Manufacturer located in the Sarasota, FL area.
Duties Include:
- Able to use hand and power tools (drills, screw guns, hand tools, routers, belt sanders)
- Use the router to route and assemble parts for Upholstery, Assembly, Lamination, Sales and Warranty orders.
- Adjust assemblies to fit prior to installation
- Delivery of all goods to designated areas.
- Stocking shelves of material upon arrival.
- Willingness to cross-train and learn other areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Able to read/write in English
- Ability to do basic math
- Bending, climbing, crawling, stretching, squatting, kneeling, twisting, reaching, walking and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- May work on knees, seated, laying down, standing up.
- Exposed to heat, cold, dust, fumes, and some outside weather conditions
- May be exposed to acetone, putties, glues, adhesive cleaners, caulking, transmission fluids, lubricants.
