Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Rewinding position for a Labeling company based in Bradenton, FL.
Duties:
- Monitor equipment for any malfunctions or issues
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper production
- Inspect finished labels for quality control
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect materials for defects such as tears, uneven tension, or misalignment
- Operate rewinding machines to wind materials (paper, plastic film, foil, wire, etc.) onto cores or spools
- Trim, splice, or join materials as needed
- Keep accurate production and quality records
Requirements:
- Familiarity with unwind and rewind labelling turrets.
- Prior experience with a labeling machine is required.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow schedule, written instructions, and job ticket requirements.
- Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
- Quickly respond (with hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sounds, light, picture) when it appears.
- Ability to read work orders or production specifications
- Basic math and measurement skills
