Slip Sheet Forklift Operator
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Slip Sheet Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently move, load, unload, and stage products throughout the warehouse and shipping areas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a slip sheet forklift and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate a slip sheet forklift safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers, trucks, and containers.
- Move and stage products throughout the warehouse.
- Handle products using slip sheets instead of traditional pallets.
- Position and retrieve loads accurately from designated storage areas.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate product placement and follow warehouse procedures.
- Assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse activities as needed.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous slip sheet forklift experience required.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift while maintaining awareness of people, equipment, and surroundings.
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
