Hours: Monday-Sunday 4:00p-3am will vary
Length of Assignment: Temp to hire
Dress code: All black clothing, non-slip black shoes.
Skills: We are seeking a friendly and efficient Hostess to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, seating, cleaning, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive and ensure they feel comfortable.
- Seating Guests: Manage reservations and seating arrangements, escort guests to their tables.
- Managing Waitlists: Keep track of waitlists and inform guests about wait times.
- Answering Phones: Handle phone calls for reservations, inquiries, and take-out orders.
- Providing Menus: Distribute menus and inform guests about specials.
- Coordinating with Staff: Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the entrance, waiting area, and dining area are clean and organized.
- Handling Payments: Occasionally assist with processing payments and handling cash.
- Customer Service: Address guest concerns and provide excellent customer service.
Education and/or Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer service role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Language Skills: Ability to understand, speak, and read English clearly.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
