Job Full Description
Hours: M-F 6am-2:30pm 1 year contract.
Dress Code: Nothing offensive, no holes.
Skills:
- Design jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of tools
- Measuring and marking metal stock for machining.
- Setting up and operating machine tools such as drills, lather, grinders, and milling machines.
- Cutting and shaping blocks to specified dimensions
- Filling, grinding, and shimming metals to ensure a smooth finish.

- In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses.
- Excellent attention to detail, Advanced trouleshooting skills, Set up and run CNC mavhining centers, Apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience, Highly motivated team player.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be required to interpret designs, cut and shape tools and dies and assemble the completed parts. Read and interpret blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings. Visualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerances.
Education and/or Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
CNC and tool and die sheet metal fabrication
Tools/Equipment Used:
As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for using a range of materials, including metals, fiberglass, thermal plastics, and other fabrication materials, to create and maintain both soft and hard tooling for manufacturing processes.
Language Skills: Ability to understand, speak, and read English clearly.
