Are you ready to take your skills to the next level in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Machine Operator. Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday
- 1st Shift – 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift – 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Job Description: As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Radio Frequency Heat Sealer as well as various types of berms, including Foam Wall, Rapid Rise, Economy, Ultimate, Stake Wall, Collapse Wall, Compact, and Low-Cost Berms.
Your role will involve:
- Operating the passenger side of a bar welder or a single person sealer.
- Understanding and adhering to safety precautions for running machinery.
- Identifying and differentiating common materials used.
- Operating the driver's side of the machinery, making necessary adjustments, troubleshooting, and recognizing errors.
- Retaining knowledge of multiple custom production lines.
- Paying close attention to fine details and staying focused on tasks.
- Meeting customer specifications in a fast-paced environment.
- Participating in a teamwork atmosphere and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Performing at required production standards with minimal supervision.
- Solving practical problems and adapting to changing conditions.
- Demonstrating patience, team support willingness, and a positive attitude.
- Exhibiting exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Performing any other duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math and reading skills
- Must know how to read a tape measure (Test will be given)
- Pass a background and a drug screening
- Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license
