Be the Spark Behind the Systems – Shift Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic

Compensation: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Shift Work Required
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems across the plant
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
- Work with pumps, motors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and more
- Conduct emergency repairs including welding, belting, and conveyance systems
- Use SAP to document maintenance activities and breakdowns
- Apply safety protocols including LOTO and NFPA 70E standards
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a multi-craft maintenance or similar role
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and in high-heat environments
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated with a drive to learn and adapt
- Safety-first mindset and attention to detail
- Pass background and drug screening
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a smelter environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable with walking, standing, climbing, and working in heat
- Good hand-eye coordination and vision (corrected 20/20)
