Job Full Description
Express seeks a Picker/Tractor Shuttle Operator to be responsible for safely transporting tractors from the factory to the Regional Distribution Center). This role includes inspecting tractors for damage, staging units by model and tire size, and accurately updating inventory using handheld scanners and SAP. Strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements is required at all times.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Transport tractors from location A to designated storage areas
- Inspect tractors for damage, trash, or debris prior to transport
- Verify serial numbers and ensure jumbo tags match serial plates
- Record tractor movements and serial numbers on log sheets
- Safely operate multiple tractor models in varying terrain and weather conditions
- Stage tractors by model, power unit, and tire size per layout
- Maintain safe vehicle speeds and follow all operating guidelines
- Use handheld scanners to update tractor locations in SAP
- Follow all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and PPE policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk outdoors for the entire shift
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driver record
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must pay attention to detail
- Safety oriented
- Must follow written and verbal instructions
